The YVTECH 2026 Summer Academy will be accepting applications on Monday May 4th @ 8:00am
** Below is a TENTATIVE lists of programs that we will be offering. Final class offerings will be based on enrollment numbers and instructor availability **
2026 YVTECH Summer Academy Registration Process
- Step 1 - Click on the Application Icon for your program of choice.
- Step 2 - Fill out all the required information. ** Make sure your email is active and spelled correctly. All notifications and communication will be done via email.**
- Step 3 - Wait for an email from YVTECH asking to confirm your enrollment or notifying you of being put on the waitlist.
- Step 4 - If you receive a placement email, you must respond before the deadline in order to CONFIRM your spot. If you don't, your spot will be given to the next person on the waitlist.

When is YV-TECH Summer Academy?
YV-Tech Summer Academy is scheduled for Monday, June 15th through Monday, July 6th (No Class June 19th and July 3rd), from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Half Hour Lunch).
Where is the YV-TECH Summer Academy?
YV-TECH Summer School Courses will only be offered at our Yakima Campus - 1120 S. 18th St, Yakima WA 98901, except for the programs listed below.

What age does my student need to be in order to be eligible for YV-Tech Summer Academy?
Students need to be high school age, so incoming high school freshman through incoming seniors.
*** Cosmetology must be 16 or older ***
How do I register for YV-Tech Summer Academy?
Applications must be completed online and will be available on May 4th, starting at 8 am.
Can my student fill out more than one application?
A student may submit an application to multiple classes. However, you will be accepted/registered into only one program. We recommend submitting applications in order of your class preference.
How are students selected?
Students are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Based on completion of application.
Can my student be accepted into more than 1 class?
A student may only be enrolled in one class.
How much does YV-Tech Summer Academy cost?
YV-Tech Summer Academy is free of charge.
When will I find out if I got accepted in the first round of applications?
Check your email on May 6th. If you are accepted, you will be notified by email. Please check your SPAM folder too.
When will I find out if I got accepted in the second round of applications?
Check your email on May 11th. If you are accepted, you will be notified by email. Please check your SPAM folder too.
What happens if I get accepted, but don't confirm my seat by the deadline?
If you do not confirm your seat by the deadline, it will be released back into open enrollment.
Do you provide transportation?
No. Students must provide their own transportation to and from YV-TECH.
What credits can a student earn during YV-Tech Summer Academy?
All courses are a 0.5 elective credit.
What is the attendance policy during YV-Tech Summer Academy?
Students MUST be in class on the FIRST day to remain enrolled in the course.
3 cumulative absences (excused or unexcused) will result in loss of credit
Three tardies to class = one absence
